Smoothing a wall.

I’ve recently moved into a new house and I am going to be painting soon. Most walls have minor imperfections and I am looking for a easy product to work with in order to smooth the walls ?

Would work but very time consuming as its lots of small imperfections on a wall , somethung like polycell smoothover

And have a look at the Everbuild fill and skim as well.

Drywall jointing compound, only catch is it comes in 12l tubs for £50! But usability wise, you can't beat it.
