Snowcem or Santex or similar on Stone wall

My home in France is built of granite. Wish to paint the outside with Snowcem, Santex or similar to sabe rendering and painting.

Now I am aware that it is imperative to allow granite walls to 'Breath' and that is why a render must be lime based. Will the above product stop the breathing process? If so, is there another similar product that will allow this?

Not being funny but id try the local suppliers out there...they should be familiar with stone that in from that area.
