I have fitted a Y piece soil fitting to my soil to add a gulley for a sink, problem being the section of the y piece runs towards the upstream instead of in the direction of flow, it works ok, but will building control have an issue with this and will I need to swap it round?

Reason I fitted like this was it saved me using extra pipe and was easier to connect, if I have to swap it round I'll `just have to redo it..

I've attached a picture below...

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated...thanks.

BC will not accept it flowing upstream. Needs to flow downstream. Slip it out, turn gulley round and fit to flow downstream.
