1st floor flat:

The soil pipe elbow that exits the building has a minor crack in it which i need to repair as it is weeping

This pic doesn't really show the crack as i coulndt get close enough

Whats the best thing to repair it with?
Would an epoxy resin be ok or do i need something with a bit more flex?

Plastic can be difficult, best to replace but given the situation you have I would try solvent weld adhesive.

ages ago I managed to break a washing machine drain that had been made out of odds and sods of pipe and buried in concrete.
I cut up a bit of pipe, lengthways, so that it fitted over the crack and smeared it with epoxy.
Then I used cable ties to pull the half pipe onto the area and stuck down

Thanks for the suggestions all.
Think ill give the solvent cement filler a try

Cut a small piece of soil pipe slightly larger then the crack, sand down both mating surfaces, clean them with spirit, then glue the piece on top.
