Hi, need to install a cloakroom toilet which will entail cutting a channel through the concrete floor for the soil pipe. My concerns are, how do I repair the dpc, assuming there is one. The bungalow is approximately 20yrs old. Tia

Use plastic dpc and follow the cut line underneath, overlapping with the existing dpc, you will need to grind out the mortar to do this. Alternatively divert the new pipe horizontally through the wall and connect outside above dpc level, capping off tne old pipe,
