Hi i have just baought a property in which there is a saniflow toilet upsatirs. I am planning on removing this and putting in a proper soil pipe as there is enough drop to do so but i have noticed that i dont appear to have a soil vent anywhere. And I was wondering does the soil vent have to be vertical or can it have bends in it. I ask this because the route i have thought about using will need 2 90 degree bends.

Bends are best avoided in the wet section of a stack. (Can have as many as you like in the vent section!)
yes where the bends will be will be dry areas
Carry on then! Actually I think a dodgy stack would still be better than a Saniflo.... 
totally agree there those saniflow things are so noisy and anything electric in the bathroom is a no no for me i dont even like the idea of a socket for savers
Just wait til it goes wrong then.... (Thats when, not if!)
its being removed this weekend hopefully
