news has just got 30 years for grooming , and blackmailing ect people into sending him pornographic images via the dark web they have been trying to track this fruit cake down for 4 years ??????

what I do not get ? is that some of these children that were groomed ?? were 15 and 16 years old ? they sent nude and explicit pictures of them selves to this fruit cake ?

jeez us wept some of these people are on the verge of leaving school ?? getting a job ?? may be

Are the younger generation so naive ? stupid ? that they send porno pics of themselves to complete strangers ? because he spun them some yarn / caper ???

This caper does not seem to be isolated either , these dck eads are also sexting in schools & then wonder why it gets made public to every one else in school ??

fruit cake generation ???????????

Many of this new generation consider the swapping of sex selfies as the norm.

Scares me that my stepson's 1 and 4 yo girls are growing up into this world.

yep its worrying ?

surely these 15 and 16 year old's ( the age of many of the victims reported on the news) have some semblance of common sense ??

what are they thinking ffs . He even had some posing in explicit images eating dog food , or licking a toilet brush ? one girl was looking for some paid work and answered his add for nude pictures for art work / still life drawings as he posed as an artist & would pay for any pics ??

Maybe older - Should he be the only one prosecuted?

"One mother, who was duped into sending Falder images of her daughter, said: "I feel as if I failed my daughter massively by being too trusting."
Get away! You reckon?

I think we have to conclude that a lot of people are just too stupid.

At least Iceland wants to stop some world-wide gangs carrying out their perverted practices in that country.
It's a start. Perhaps Britain could follow suit and take things further.

 you are right . some of these "victims" need a kick up the back side tbh .

It staggers me that some of these people 15 / 16 year old's are so stupid & these fruit cakes will be dumped onto some poor employer ?? who will have to deal with em

Take a step back from your righteous self indignation & consider the fact that this was a very, very intelligent chap.

The 'modus operandi' he used should not have been, even briefly mentioned in the mainstream gutterpress. Surely now there are many more out there who will pick it up & learn from his mistakes.

he was IT savey & a Cambridge graduate so he was intelligent not in dispute .

But then again the victims were so stupid it is a wonder they can remember to breath

and that stupid mother should be up before the beak

gutter press is radio 4 ????? perhaps other 15 & 16 year olds & parents will learn from the stupidity of others ??

but I doubt it

I concur.
Add to that the inevitable tightening of "guidance" and "regulations", which only seems to make individuals even less willing and able to think for themselves.....

I think as technology takes over the amount of thinking youngsters have to do is diminishing severely. We all know, when we're alone with our thoughts, one leads to another and in turn you build a greater understanding of a given situation but I think when you're give interactive devices at a young age and becoming more and more relient on them, especially for social interraction, you don't experience that thought path fully.

In turn, I think it's taking people longer to mature socially and mentally; this is a good example of it.

Is part of the problem these children's desire to be a " celeb" ? I think this bloke was masquerading as a woman and promising modelling careers etc. Plus these kids are tucked away with their laptops instead of talking with their families and maybe seeking attention elsewhere?
