See photos below, any idea what kind of render this is?
We want to remove it, ideally back down to the brickwork but we understand the brick might be so damaged it would require re-rendering, which is fine, we would do a more modern smoother render.
We just want this horrible stuff removed!
We've had a quote of almost £5000 to remove it, re-render and paint. Is that reasonable?
He did say that removing it is quite labour intensive, which I translate as expensive with no expert skill involved. To save money is chipping off the current render something I could do, given I can swing a hammer, or it something that needs to be done with skill and care?
