Hi all,
I want to install a new bathroom, "but" water pressure in this very old house is poor. (I can here everyone saying open stop cocks, have the water company come out, run new pipes from the mains in the path) this has all been done running 8l per min vaillant boiler upstairs kitchen and bathroom down stairs..
Can I install a water tank back into the loft and pump water to the boiler and the rest of the house?? To have good flow to the bathroom??

Regards
Chris :?:

8 litres per minute is volume, not pressure. The two are not mutually exclusive.

What is the actual pressure - both static and with water flowing?

Have a search of the forum, or look at the suggestions at the bottom of the page, this question has been done to death and you will probably find an answer already.

Also - look up accumulators.
