Cut pieces of 15mm copper tube to suit, then use appropriate length screws.
I cut lots of 20mm circles with a hole cutter and harbour in a pvc leftover fascia.
I end up with 20mm pvc washers roughly 9mm thick.
Then add as many as needed and file off one if need to be exact.
