Can someone please remind me, is there a rule on separation dustance of mains and speaker cables in wall?
Thanks sfk

Not an electrician but separation between low voltage, (230-1,000Vac), and extra low voltage ( <= 50Vac) is 100mm or 4" to us oldies.
Having said that I've seen loads of speaker cables taped to mains cables in an effort to make them look tidy.

Conny, thanks for that.
I would not want to put speaker cables on top of mains cable incase someone puts a drill though both and makes speaker terminals live. But I do want to put both in designated safe areas so onow where not to drill. So just under 4" seperation works perfectly for me.
Thanks SFK
