Got a chance of some Accoustic Research speakers for free/ donation to charity, they stand about 4ft tall have what looks like 2 sub woofers at the bootom each, and various speakers running up bass mid range etc.
8ohm impedence (forgot to write down model no ) They are very big, I just wondered if they are any good as speakers, at the moment I'm using Gale 41's
Thanks for any info.
 
I'd say that Acoustic Research are a step up from the Gales...so for free they've got to be worth a shot :D
 
I would second that.

My first centre speaker was a Gale - wasn't impressed.

Mind you, my current centre would blow most into a cocked hat!
