Hello,
I have a pneumatic bench top press that I use to press picture hangers into frame backing board. It works really well but in an ideal world I would like to increase the speed of the piston stroke as at the moment overall down and back takes about 5 seconds. I am attaching photos of the machine and hopefully the pipes are clear to see. It shows the inlet pipe from the compressor that seems to go to some sort of valve that presumably changes the air from pushing downwards and then to return of piston. This seems to be controlled by the electric control box. There are no settings on the electric box to increase speed. I have noticed that are things called air flow control valves that can be fitted in line to increase and decrease air flow. I suppose that these might be a solution but how would they increase the air flow ( if that's what is needed)?
Surely once a pipe is of a certain bore the airflow cant be increased just decreased?
If anyone has any advice or experience I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
