Spitting clutch - Vectra 52 plate

Advice and or help please.
When I put the clutch pedal down and release I get a spitting sound from near the pedal. It sounds like a fast compressed air squirting noise lasting for a split second.
It has been going on for two months and the clutch works fine but should I be concerned about the noise?

the spring on the pedal, bit of wd, it does annoy me at times
