Hi,
I have a garage roof, covered in what appears to be green ,fabric, corrugated sheets. It was built in the 1990s.

The sheets have no strength, are absorbing water, and sagging.

I tried to shore them up from below ,unfortunately creating splits in the sheets (and soaking myself).

I have found a product -Aquaseal roof mastic –is it suitable for sealing these splits.

Thank you in advance.

Al.

Sounds like its time for a new roof... most flat roofs have a 10yr life span so going on 17 its done well.

Aquashield fibre reinforced roof sealer is made under many label names. It is a solvent based fibre added paste that can be brushed, or trowled on to asbestios roofs or flat, garage type roofs. At about £45 per 5 ltrs in the B&Q's of this world, it's not cheap, but it works and can be rained on straight away without problems. (Though spreading it on a wet roof is not easy). I have done a few roofs incld corrugated aspetsos and also the local cattery roof which is felt. Grey or Green , trade prices available.
