Hi,

I have a few of those 'shell' chairs. That's the model, but you can find dozens of variations - https://www.officesight.com/wholesa...k-plastic-mid-century-modern-shell-chair.html

They start to squeak when I sit down. I tried to tighten bolts, but they're are too worn out. I'm looking for replacement for those, but I wonder what else can be worth trying. Applying WD-40? Trying to add some cushion pads between the screw and plastic or the metal part?

Fixing them securely should stop the squeaks.

Slacken the bolts slightly and put some talcum powder between the frame and the seat. Re-tighten bolts.
You may have to do this every couple of months.
Alternatively slip a little piece of thin rubber in the gap and make sure fixings are tight as possible.
