Hi Would someone be so kind to help me with this problem.
Newly rendered garage, completed about a month ago, now would like to paint. What is best priming solution to use or should I use a stabilizer and if so which? as I have seen ones that recommend not to be used on new surfaces

No primer needed, just paint with masonry paint, Dulux wethershield should do it.

i would have thought that you'd only need to stabilize it if it's friable and not in great condition, new stuff should be paintable

Cheers for replies, lucky enough had bought some Dulux Weathersheild.
It's amazing what you find out when you read the label on the product.
Complies with both your answers and thank you for taking time to reply
