We are all going on a stag do in august and was going abroad but one of the lads is scared of flying so we are staying in old blighty and going to spend fri-mon somewhere but we are debating where,some ideas thrown in the hat so far are Edinburgh,Leeds ,Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle or Dublin ........I havent thrown mine in yet but has anybody got any suggestions for a group of about 20+ lads with good digs and nightlife???

Newcastle is the place to, good night life and the gerodies are an friendly lot Mind you Dublin is good i've be told from mates who's been.

Had mine in York. Stayed at York backpackers. http://www.yorkbackpackers.co.uk/ It's about 2 mins walk from the train station.
Plenty of pubs, nice city. You'll struggle to find digs for a stag do, but york backpackers were spot on and we had no trouble. Big dorms full of bunk beds. They have a bar in the cellar, breakfast is excellent and it's cheap!!!!

Good night in York although Bouncers were on the lookout for us and we had to split up to get into some pubs - Spent the day at Thirsk races!! PerfikYou know it makes sense - listen to your Doc!
