Hello,

I posted a question over on anoter section about a leak i was repairing (http://www.diynot.com/forums/roofing-guttering/guttering-ladders.354844/)

Anyway - I've (hopefully) repaired the leak and in the process of drying out the walls.

I've been asked to paper the walls (not my advice but its not my bathroom) as the bathroom is prone to condensation im going to paint the ceiling with oil based anti mould paint.

I was wondering if anyone has any advice on stain blockers/mould resistant materials that i can put on the walls - particually near to the top to prevent mould growth, before i paper the walls? Or is it best just to prep the walls and paper?

The bathroom does not have a extractor or any ventilation other than a small window - and fitting a extractor is not a option.

Any advice is welcome!

Thanks!

Sounds like you know what your doing, any anti mould/fungal paint would do the trick ans then go on as normal, just advice them to open the window a bit and shut the door when running a bath etc
