can ceramic floor tiles be stained? considering using a concrete stain application. if the tile surface is sanded first, will the tile take the stain? Or is there another way to change the floor tile color without replacing the tile? HELP!

tbh ...
I tried it on a front hallway for someone ..... it looks brill at 1st , but wether our uk weather is the thing .....It went sh*te ....Terrible
