Steel Curtain Track Splicing

I have installed a curtain track but I see a small gap where tracks are spliced - is it possible to fill the gap somehow ? This causes my pulley to not glide smoothly

Aligning the edges better and/or filing chamfers on the track and slider should help. Just because it turns up from China with some badly made bracket that holds the joint misaligned doesn't mean you have to put up with it

It's already installed so now I can't move it. How do I go about filing chamfers ? Do you have any guide ?

Just bend one side a tad so it aligns better.
