Hello: can you please advise the correct type of steel lintel and the weight of the lintel for the following:

9" solid brick lime mortar wall.

Structural opening 2400 (plus 300 bearing surface) = 2700mm.

Load on lintel outer leaf: wooden wall plate supporting roof trusses plus ceiling joists, slate roof.

Load on lintel inner leaf: 3 courses of brick only.

Both of the 9" wall will be finished with interior plaster.

I think you have your inner and outer leafs mixed up.. anyways its unlikely youll get someone to design a steel for you for free on a forum due to liability issues..
You should get someone competent to design the beam, provide calcs to building regs and some PI insurance to cover it..
 
I think the OP is talking about a Catnic lintel. I would think a phone call to Catnic would answer the question.
