Hi,
I have a Stoves oven model type 550E with a serial number of 444449014

The back left hob has a mind of its own meaning when it’s switched on 1 it looks like you switched it 8 thus boiling away like crazy.

I assume the regulator part behind the knob that you turn is at fault.

I’m looking to replace it but can anybody advise a part number for it.
I see some online people just saying yes there item is correct after I supply the serial number but surely that can all be the same in the cooker ?

Also there price is say £45 where eBay sellers are around half that.
Any help would be great thanks

The part you need is 082590800 or ele 9745. It might be a different make to the original but is compatible.

Thanks.
Can I ask if there is a difference between say front left and rear left.

Only if it is a dual element and the regulator is a dual. My parts list reckons all elements are singles on that cooker.

Ok thanks.

I asked as two jobs are a large sizer than the other two.

Thanks

Job now done.
Regulators took say 10 minutes to change both.
Thanks.
