Strange sound on my rooftop

Hi
I currently live in a block of flats with 4 residents occupying the buliding. Its a new built, housing association. I am on the top floor (1st floor). Recently i have heard loud banging sounds on the roof. and running sounds. At first i thought it was a bird or a squirrel but the sounds are too loud and heavy to be an animal.
Sometimes the sounds start from 5am which wakes me up and occasionally continues throughout the day and stops at random intervals.
Even when there is no wind you can still hear the sounds..

Does anyone know what it could be or what i could do?

The sound is very low on the computer but if you turn up the volume then hopefully you can hear it.

could be felt laps opening or closing , vibrting in breeze
poke your head up

If its a flat roof i would guess there is some sort of clad tank enclosure up there thats flapping about.
