Strobe problem

My Vortex bell box strobe has stopped working the box is 10 yrs old does it need a new internal battery or should I purchase a new unit ie bell box or strobe.

imo, i would be looking at a replacement, you can buy a better box for under £30.

You can test the battery by removing the mains and battery from the control panel, then the sounders hold-off should kick-in. Only do this if you have the codes to silence the system and engineer code if a tamper reset is required.

BE CAREFULL AROUND THE MAINS PLEASE

Would be much better to relpace the box

IMO go buy and fit a new one, its better all round, and it will be nice aclean and shiny!!!!
