Hi,
I'm a bit at my wits end here.
I have a tap which needs the ceramic valve replacing. I have a replacement part, but I don't seem to be able to remove the valve housing which is in there already!
I have tried with an adjustable spanner, a wrench socket and finally one of those big jaw grippy things - but it simply won't budge! Continued efforts have now somewhat rounded off the nut and there are bits of brassy stuff everywhere!
Are there any hints/tricks I can use to get this out of there? I've heard of using a blow torch on it - but the bath is plastic and I don't want to damage it!
Nothing I've tried turns it!
Any info appreciated!
Thanks!
Bob
