1. Normally a screw in the top, under a decorative cover, attaches handle to tap spindle.
2. Decorative cap may unscrew, may pop out.
3. There are other possibilities, such as a screw in the side of the top part of the handle (with the cross levers), one of the levers unscrewing to reveal a fixing screw beneath.
