Hi guys

I cant for the life of me think or find the part which seals the filling pipe to the toilet. Its the rubber bung bit and are they generally all the same size (the pipe size seems to be 40mm)

Thanks...!!

Fitted it today with the pipe cut to the correct length (just past the end of the grommet) and pushed it all back (grommet was flush with the flange).

It weeped/leaked ever so slightly but obviously over time this isnt good. Its a rubbery grommet and Ive read some use plumbers mate to seal - any suggestions please?

Not to discount what you have done up to now but the flush cones shouldn't leak .... IF ... the pipe is cut clean, to the correct length and it is straight and level. If it isn't, especially the last point, it will leak. Silicone or mait will get you going but it shouldn't need it TBH.
