Suggest a silver birch variety for my back garden pls!

Garden is 10m x 5m, SE facing.

I want to put 2 elegant silver birth 'together' along the back fence to a) create a feature and b) screen the neighbours a bit.

I am looking for a 3-4m tree with a narrow, upright habit, with proper 'white' bark- or at least, attractive bark!

Any suggestions please?

Hello,

Birches grow bigger than the desired heights you mention, up to 30 foot or so over time but if you really want a Birch tree then for the most startling effect I recommend Betula utilis var. Jacquemontii which is fairly slim in outline but with the brilliant white trunk and branches that I think you would appreciate.

A quite ghostly effect if 2 planted together.
