Hello,

What are the recommended way of finishing the edges of a laminate flooring in a bathroom, please?

I fitted glued-together water-resistant laminate in my old bathroom and it was great, surprisingly durable.

But I was never happy with the edges. I fitted a skirting board and attempted to seal between the laminate and skirting with silicone. Of course, as the laminate moved, the silicone's seal broke, and it looked messy and stopped being watertight.

Any better suggestions for my second attempt, please?

Thanks.

Anyone got any ideas or opinions about this please? I know laminate in bathrooms is a bit "borderline", but there are types sold as suitable in all the DIY sheds and specialist flooring retailers.

Thanks,

C.

Yes, but they do not supply edging. You could try the angled edging sold for round baths, it is flexible and only sticky on one edge. I think it comes in different colours.
