SUPPRESSION?

Hello all,
My car (Renault scenic p reg) has just developed a couple of problems
The first one is that when the radio is on and the engine is running I get a ticking noise from the speakers. A couple of people have said to me that it is the suppression. What does this mean and how can I fix the problem?

The radio willo be picking up interference from something elctrical on the car.
The easy fix is an inline suppressor from halfrauds. About £3 and just wire it directly into the radio feed.

It could be an early indication that a plug lead or an ignition coil is beginning to break down.
