Ive been having trouble with my boiler for some time now. CH is fine but the hot water works when its in the mood to. I've metered the flow switch and it is open circuit when no water running and .05 ohm when tap is on. Boiler seems to fire when water is on as you hear a relay click and boiler fires. Now im not sure if its firing full blast or not. The water is cold-slightly warm. No diverter valve on the boiler so it not that. There is a globe like thing attached to HW inlet pipe just up from the flow switch, it has a bike valve on it like the big expansion vessel at the back of the boiler, not sure what thats for or if it needs to be checked for pressure?? and what would the symptoms be if the HW thermistor was faulty or the Pressure switch? dont want to just go replacing things that aren't broke.
Other thing is setting up the HW flow rate should it matter haw fast it is over 1.9 gal min? Any thoughts on this one would be greatly appreciated as im pulling my hair out with it -
