Switchmaster SM300 issue - please help!

I have the Switchmaster SM300 timer/ thermostatic control. It seems to work (almost perfectly). Weirdly it seems to switch from timed to constant once during a 24 hour cycle.

Does anyone know the reason for this?

I'd like to avoid changing this unit as it's not broken as such.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts/ suggestions/ ideas.....
