I DO NOT KNOW THE COMBINATION OF THE TIMER PEG SETTINGS ON THE SWITCHMASTER 900. THEY ARE green/red/blue/yellow. WHICH ONE IS USED AS ON/OFF?

It goes green, yellow, blue, red. If you have it set to come on once a day it will come on at green and turn off at red. If you have it set for twice a day it will come on at green then turn off at yellow then turn on again at blue and off at red. You slide the coloured switches around to correspond with the hours you want.

It looks like I have got another problem, I have set both the CH and WH knobs on constant but the boiler will not come. The water storage tank thermostat is working alright.

What is the purpose of the''advance'' dial knob? If you turn it (it is unidirectional), with the above settings, it either switches the boiler ON or OFF.
