I have recently board my kitchen using tapered edged plasterboard and i'm planning to get it skimmed.
Is is OK to skim over tapered edge board or will I suffer cracks in the future?

Many Thanks in advance

It wont make any difference. Just make sure the joints are scrimmed/taped though.

Roughcaster.

As I've said before where we live we cant/dont get square edged boards so I always skim the joints put the scrim tape on and skim the joints again. If I cant skim (the Wall) that day I will put a roller over the joints with a bit of "Uni-Bond" on and by the time I have done all the joints and knocked up my muck it is ready to skim, If you dont do as I have described then you have the chance of having a "low " spot where your joints are...Good Luck....
