Can anyone help please
A couple of days ago my boiler started to make a very loud tapping noise and turned itself off. I then noticed that the down pipe was also getting very hot before it shut itself off - indeed a couple of times it threw back water from the overflow. I then noticed that a couple of rads also remained cold. I then bled all the rads. Now I all the rads are getting hot and there is throw back. However the boiler still makes a noise - not a loud as before - indeed the noise is quieter before turning itself off. It then fires up after a few minutes. Basically it's not as bad as it was before the the problem has not disappeared. Can anyone help please?
