HI CAN ANYONE HELP ME. I HAVE A HOTPONT CONDENCER TUMBULE DRYER AND IT WILL NOT HEAT.IT IS NOT THE CUT OUT STATS ON THE ELEMENT AND IT IS NOT THE ELEMENT .THEY ARE ALL OK. BUT WHEN I SWICH IT ON THERE IS NO POWER GOING DOWN TO THE STATS OR ELEMENT CAN ANYONE HELP.

There should be an exhaust stat. You'll have to find where it's located (unless someone else knows).


Unplug your appliance before working on it.
 
thanks to all who told me about the exhaust stat i did look at that and tha is ok
 
Could be it thinks it's full of water, blockage? and this would cut power to the heater.

Read what NigelD said, it will most likely be the stat located at the top of the door opening.
