Hello,

Looking to add a shower above our bath in our new build bathroom (Currently we have a bath mixer tap with no shower).

I’ve taken the panel off the bath and have got easy access to the TMV but the rest of the hot pipe work in below the floor.

Question is can I take off the isolation valve that feeds into this and swap it for a tee to take the hot feed or do I need to cut into the floor and tee off lower down the hot supply leaving the isolation valve for the TMV as is?

See attached photo

Thanks
Paul

I'm thinking of putting and TMV to supply my whole house .

It would make economic sense any reason why I shouldn't?
