Hi all
I need to get a radiator disconnected temporarily and removed off the wall so I can plaster behind.
I've just had a new Combi installed in the last month (Vaillant ecoTEC plus 937) and don't wish to mess up my central heating system (which is working like a charm and would like to keep it that way in the long term
)
The system should have been cleaned and filled with inhibitor, so wouldn't want to have to get it all drained etc. The radiator has a thermostatic valve at one end and I guess a valve of some description at the other end - a screw is visible into a little white cap. (can tell I'm new to this!)
Is it possible to easily get the rad off & disconnected?
If so, what would be needed after reconnection?
Thanks!
