I have changed the e mail I have registered on my app. I understand this can’t be edited and I need to make a new account. I cannot see anywhere on the app., i phone version 3.0.5 , where this can be done. Any assistance would be gratefully accepted.

Unfortunately the way the system works now is as follows.
Your panel is assigned to a cloud account.
This is done via the installer.
If you self installed you would have this information.
If however it was installed by another installer you can’t create another account.
You can only attempt to regain control of the account.
To do that you need to set up a cloud account and request a take over only if the panel is locked into an account.
If the installer doesn’t respond you would have to contact Texecom to move this on and this is where it can get a bit bloody awkward.

Many thanks for this. The new account idea came from Texacom’s customer service team. Looks like I’mbstuffed as it was only put in this year by a local company. They claim they need to visit (£60) kerching. I’ve already had to pay them once to come and change the wi fi provider. The new system replaced a perfectly good one because my ‘phone company discontinued the analogue signal.

And I’m sure worth every penny. Professional services are thus named for a reason. My frustration is with Texacom more than anything where the consumer can’t do relatively simple tasks like updating internet supplier and account e mail. Thanks for taking an interest.
