We have a Texecom Premier Elite 24 system. Yesterday i had to turn off the mains power for approximately 12 hours. When the power was turned back on we got a a fault messages showing 1) P S Failure 2) Power OP fault system 12 Volt. Nothing will clear the fault messages. The Haze 12V battery was changed about 3 months ago. The alarm is working OK but cannot clear the fault messages. I have deselected AC power failure (A) and Power Ouputs/Charger (O) in the “ Monitor Hardware”in “Global Options “ but this has not cleared the fault messages.
Can the battery be drained in 12 hours? Why is it not possible to clear faults ?
Any advice would be most welcome

If an engineers reset does not clear the faults, the system thinks the fault is still present.

A power cycle may sound daft but it may clear your faults.

How old and how big is your battery? (may need replacing or charging back up.
Have you tested the battery?

Once a fault is present turning the monitoring of the fault off will not clear it, a power cycle might, but i would turn the monitoring back on.
