Happy New Year all.

I am looking to replace the sealant on my UPVC door/window frame (externally) where the frame meets the brickwork, after finding a huge gap that is now filled with expanding foam.

What is the best sealant please? Silicone or something else?

I have attached an image. Obviously I will prepare both surfaces ready for the sealant.

Thanks

Peel the clear protective tape off the vertical one first before you seal up, whichever make you go for just use a Low Mod neutral cure silicone which is a general purpose silicone suitable for most things, High Mod isn't as flexible and would work b ut runs the risk of shrinking away from surface due to its lower elasticity
