I find it incredible , and no doubt seriously frustrating for the residents, that there is no clear source for the humming noise in Holmfield, Yorkshire which is disturbing people's lives.

Is anyone expert with audio able to help them? I guess someone has used a low frequency noise meter all over the area to work out strongest point?

Finding it could take days/weeks of searching and would be best doe by a resident with the right gear.

I'm sure that someone somewhere will have said to someone else "don't let on that this is the cause of the hum", whilst they just leave whatever device is doing it's job.
Once its found I'm sure that if possible, some retribution may occur and it will be switched off one way or another.
