The joys of plumbing!

Polesapart is very likely right as to the problem. I'd be inclined to leave the gloves off for a few days (and possibly bin the ones that you've been using) Dillalio, or at least wear latex gloves underneath. I've had a bad reaction from some of the ones I got from Aldi. The green ones were a little tight, and my hands started to itch, but the reds were a larger size, and I've been fine with them. Get hold of some Echianaforce Echinacia as well, it'll boost your imune system. And daft as this sounds, if you stick a picture of yourself on your avatar, I'll try and do some absent healing on you.

Best of luck.

My above joke aside @Doggit - thanks for your (& others) sentiments and concern (y)

Turns out one of my fellow local plumbers had to give up the job as he developed an allergy to metal, particularly copper!
Can't help thinking that's his excuse to go all plastic! :sneaky:

My father once got some kind of bad reaction to copper.

But I was very young at the time and I don't know what he was touching.

My mate unblocked a drain and got a rash cos they'd put all sorts of cleaners down it and didn't tell him.Bob
