I must admit i thought everyone was charged the same fee but judging by the posts they are not i have just had my car MOT'd (tuesday) and it cost me £45
 
allways book your car in for a friday,Because by then the lads are just looking forward to the weekend and have had enough...you will drive out with a full mot even though you've got 4 mixed tyres.exhaust hanging off.rotten sills.ball joints rattling.black smoke....

motest centres allow 7 days for a free retest, only problem is they are very popular round my way and the waiting can be a long time (4+ hrs)
so get there early!
