The overflow pipe

Hi, can anyone tell me why I have water coming from the overflow pipe coming from the tank in my loft. I`m not exactly sure of the system type but I can stop the trickle by turning on the hot taps.

Your ballvalve needs changing.

What tank is it in? the big one, or the little one....you could be expanding, is the water warm what's coming out the overflow? go check.

Since it can be stopped by turning on hot taps, I hope it's the big one!
