Trump administration keeps saying loads of countries (various numbers quoted anything from 75 to 100) have “reached out” and 18 countries are actively negotiating.

China are calling his bluff and made it clear he's lying.
It's pretty humiliating for him, even if he can't see it.
China - 6+ times the population and the world's largest economy when measured by purchasing power parity. They'll manage. There are a few things CHina wants from the west, but they're probably developing new supply lines. They aren't bogged by Trillions of debt either.
They've (BAIDU iirc) just produced an even cheaper Large Language AI model based on Huawei chips.
A bit of rug-pulling going on for Apple, Google, Amazon, NVIDIA,,.
CHina's chip making is coming up fast. Orders for the ASML machines which make NVIDIA style chips are way down.
The markets are incredibly twitchy whenever Trump speaks.
If everything goes twits up, It looks like the USA would suffer more than most.
