The Weather Today is...

Frosty start to the day, coating the trees around with a Christmassy air. Looks nice from a centrally heated living room, looking out the window but i'll have to dig out thick socks today before venturing out into it. If any Aussies are around i'll ask to take the weather with 'em. Roll on Spring...

Jack Frost has left us after a chilly start to the year and a mild air has settled over dell and dale.

Had almost forgotten this from Siouxsie, til it popped out the radio yesterday: the best version of a Beatles classic.

According to Climate Copernicus; January was the warmest it's ever been, with a temperature 1.75°C above the pre-industrial level and was the 18th month in the last nineteen months for which the global-average surface air temperature was more than 1.5°C above the pre-industrial level.

Scientists are puzzled but the answer should be obvious: all that hot air blown across the Atlantic after the inauguration of Trump is affecting the Climate Crisis more severely than ever before. Four more years of it nd we're all doomed...doooomed, i tell ye. Well, if you listen to fooools...

...the Mob roolz.

I'd forgotten how damn good this album is, so here's a Bonus track...

Sun is shining, snowdrops are up and crocus' are almost ready to join in the fun.

It's a beautful day.

"Have you seen the Jack o' th' Green..."

...only a gleam o' green this fine morn'': crunchy underfoot, coating crocus with xmas glitter but complimenting snowdrop clusters with Christmas cheer. First day o' Spring? It's all very confusing.

Colder than a witch's wotsit this mornin'...

...just right for hardening the apple buds.
