I've always taken it that he dredges it up all the time because he realises that he has no other way to counter what Ellal has written.

Sadly mottie is simply an embittered diminutive old bully...

He is invariably on the wrong side of an argument due to his objectionable prejudices and thus has no other approach to being shown up time and time again...

He has a band 'of 'merry old men' who back him up because they are of the same ilk...

Maybe they deserve our sympathy given their inadequacies
