Thermaline on ceiling

Hello,

My gas engineer has advised that I fit 22ml Thermaline boards to the ceiling with adhesive. It sounds great, especially as my ceilings are quite low, however it also sounds quite risky given the boards are so heavy.

Any advice appreciated.

No! too heavy, walls yes, ceilings need mechanical fixings.
